Viacheslav Strelkov

Viacheslav Strelkov, a distinguished bass, has been making remarkable contributions to the world of opera since 2011. Born in Vinnytsia, Ukraine, he has established himself as a formidable presence on the opera stage.

Mr. Strelkov began his formal education in opera at the Kyiv National Musical Academy, named after P.I. Tchaikovsky, where he studied under Professor Petr Koval from 2006 to 2011. He then served as a soloist at the Kyiv Municipal Opera and Ballet Theater from 2011 to 2019 and has been a soloist at the National Opera and Ballet Theater in Kharkov, Ukraine, since 2019.

In 2022, Mr. Strelkov expanded his career to international collaborations, starting with Teatro Verdi in Trieste, Italy, where he participated in three concerts under the direction of Maestro Jacopo Brusa and Pietro Rizzo. His repertoire includes key roles such as Gremin in Eugene Onegin, König Rene in Iolanta, and Galitskiy in Prince Igor, performed at the National Opera and Ballet Theater in Kharkov.

Since 2023, Mr. Strelkov has been working with Opera 2001, where he played the role of Timur in Turandot 23 times in theaters across Spain and France, including the Massy Theater in Paris. He also portrayed Commendatore in Don Giovanni in 38 performances in Spain and France. Recently, he completed an extensive tour with the opera Norma, performing the role of Oroveso in 20 shows.

Mr. Strelkov's commanding stage presence and rich bass voice have earned him acclaim in a variety of roles, including Varlaam in Boris Godunov, Kochubey in Mazeppa, Ramfis in Aida, and Colline in La Bohème. He has also performed as a Soloist in large-scale concerts of Mozart's Requiem, Verdi's Requiem, and Rossini's Stabat Mater, lead by distinguished Conductors such as D. Morozov and A. Baklan.

Fluent in Russian, German, Italian, and French, with a good command of English, Viacheslav Strelkov continues to captivate audiences with his exceptional talent and dedication to the art of opera.
