Sandra Laagus

Sandra Laagus started studying music and playing the violin at the age of 6. After music school she continued her studies at the Tallinn Music High School. In 2021 she graduated from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theater with a bachelor's degree in classical singing, teacher Juhan Tralla. From the autumn of 2021 studies continue at the EAMT Master's program.
Sandra has performed as a soloist with the Tallinn Chamber Orchestra and the baroque ensemble of the Drottningholm Palace Theater.

Her repertoire includes roles such as Papagena in Mozart’s “Die Zauberflöte”, Donna Elvira in Mozart’s “Don Giovanni” at State Opera Tartu (Theatre Vanemuine), Piret in Tõnis Kaumann’s opera “The Mall” at State Opera Tartu (Theatre Vanemuine) and Roxanne’s duenna in Eino Tamberg’s “Cyrano de Bergerac” at State Opera Tartu (Theatre Vanemuine).
