Elina Ratiani
Georgian-born soprano Elina Ratiani began her formal musical education at the Higher Institute of Music in Chelyabinsk, Russian Federation. She continued her studies at the St. Petersburg Conservatory and graduated with honors from the prestigious Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory. During her time with the Academy of Young Singers at the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, she was granted the position of a Soprano Soloist with the company..
A finalist on Georgia's Got Talent in 2012, Elina performed from 2013 to 2016 in esteemed venues such as the Main Hall of St. Petersburg, the Moscow Hall of Chaliapin, and the Moscow House of Scientists. Her roles included the Countess in Mozart's "Le Nozze di Figaro," and notable performances of "Ritorna Vincitor" and "Oh Patria Mia" from Verdi, Bizet's "Carmen," and Puccini's "Tosca," along with numerous arias and romances in Italian, Russian, and English.
In September 2019, Elina made her debut as Turandot at the Greek Theatre of Taormina and the Theatre of Syracuse in Italy, performing alongside renowned tenor Marcello Giordani under the direction of Enrico Stinchelli. The performance received critical acclaim, culminating in a 20-minute ovation from an audience of 10,000. Despite the challenging conditions imposed by the pandemic, she delivered a remarkable performance as Aida at the same venue in August 2020.
In May 2021, Elina performed as Turandot at the Teatro del Maggio Fiorentino and later shared the stage with Sonya Yoncheva in "Siberia."
